The Muffin Medicare Fund was created several years ago after one of our patients had died and her owner donated $100 to create a fund in her memory to help treat pets in need.

The fund has never had more than $100 at any given time, so we have decided to more agressively promote the fund to be able to help more pets in need.

Over the years we have been able to help treat:

• a puppy with parvo virus
• animals that were hit by cars and left on the side of the road
• helped treat an elderly couples pet that needed treatment
• a rescued dog that had been tied to a tree, and was in need of foot surgery
• a dog who needed his leg amputated because of a severe fracture
• helped pay for neutering, vaccine, and deworming of 2 stray puppies taken in by a caring person

These are just a few of the pets that we have been able to help with the Muffin Medicare Fund.
