Dr. Lockwood is a 2009 graduate of Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in West Lafayette, Indiana.  In veterinary school, Dr. Lockwood focused her studies on horses, dogs, and cats, and she received additional training in equine medicine through externships in lameness, dentistry, and reproduction. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Lockwood is happy to be back enjoying the warm weather of the South after 4 years in Indiana.  Dr. Lockwood has been an animal lover since she was very young having various animals at home such as dogs, cats, a pony, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, fish, a turtle, lizards, and even a baby squirrel. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies with her fiancé Thomas, pampering her pony Oreo, playing with her dog Gryffin, and exploring the Florida outdoors. Dr. Lockwood is very excited about joining Shelton Veterinary Clinics where she will be working in the clinic and in the field primarily out of the Elkton and Palm Coast clinics.
